As part of Alabama’s “the Year of BBQ”, Dick Russell’s Famous BBQ has been honored with an induction into the Alabama Barbecue Hall of Fame. We are one of the only BBQ establishments in southern Alabama to be honored with the award. Dick Russell’s BBQ has been open since 1954.

We are honored to have been voted winner by Mobilians in the Lagniappe Nappie Reader’s Choice Awards 2015 for Best Biscuits. We were also reader nominated for Best BBQ. Thank each and every one of you who made it possible, and come see us soon!

We’re known for our BBQ, we’re known for our breakfast, but among our regulars we are famed also for our pork chops. We offer a lunch special every week day starting at only $9.95 and comes with your choice of two delicious sides.

Our good friends over at LLAHDDOT Creative Works are also some of the best folks on the Gulf Coast at what they do, which is branding, video production, photography, marketing, website/graphic design, and media placement. When we made the decision to increase our web presence, there was really only one name to call. We are proud to have them produce our web site and it’s content.
